Technological Week
So this week i played around more on my iPad and came across a few good apps. First app I discovered was Dropbox. Dropbox is basically is a flase drive that you do not have to carry around; you can just drop your papers or assignments into it and then go to another computer and you can go to the website; sign in and just drag the assignment to your desktop. This was a great app and it was FREE!
The next app I saw was an app called Things for iPad. This app is a great organizer to have because you can basically put all your due dates for your assignments in and you can see what you have coming up. This was a very expensive app; it was 19.99$. I haven't bought it yet, but it is something that i wish to have in the near future.
The final app I came across was Penultimate. This app lets the user write on a notebook using the iPad. You can change the color of ink and you can even add picture to it so, you could take a picture of a work sheet and write write on it. This was a another cheap app; it was only 1.99$ and i recommend buying it.
That is all the apps I came across this week. Hopefully, in the near future i will discover more apps so, can maximize the uses of the iPad.

First week into the Future
The first of part of the work that was assigned to us this week was the youtube video. The video was about people says "When I Become a teacher..." and would say a negative quality about a teacher. It is scary to think that there are teachers out there. When I was in 3rd grade I had a teacher that would chew gum and would enforce the rule that there would be no gum chewing in her class. This lead to a lot of confusion within the class because the teacher was doing it and we couldn't.
The next part I looked at a professional blog by Dr. Scott McLeod. It gave me a good example on what my blog should look like when i want it to look professional. It was also helpful to look at what he wrote in the bio section and what he blogged about. I hope that once I get used to blogging, mine can look like that.
For another class , I did a reading and it was about rule making. I found this important because I that is something that should be established early. In Kim Kennedy's class, we did an activity that involved making rules by coming together as a class and writing our hopes and dreams down. Then we were split into groups and wrote down 8 rules as small groups. When we came together we grouped all the rules together and came out with only 3 simple rules and that was easier to see and remember. This activity is something I hope to do in my future classroom.
The final thing I did was working and becoming familiar to my iPad. I have brought it to class and it is so much lighter than bringing my computer to class. I also have tried to find apps to use in my future class. It is amazing some of the apps that I have found.
